Christmas

Well it was wonderful. The kids had a blast and loved everything. Although Jeoy has been at my mom's since Christmas. LOL Kameron has been with me. After Sarah and Hlaey go to bed Kirk,Jessie,Kam and I all sit around the living room playing card games.We have had alot of fun.
Kirk went all out this year and really showed his sweet/romantic side. I never see this side. first he went all over looking for a book that I wanted. He found it, and got me a movie that I also wanted. well then he threw me for a loop. He hands me a card. He is sooooo not a card guy. I open it and read it and start to cry. If he does get a card it is always those funny ones. Well this one was the sweetest card. Inside were two visa gift card wrapers that totaled $150.00 with a note saying that a friend from church had the cards and me and three of the ladies from church are going shopping next weekend for me some clothes and he gave them strick instructions that I can not get anything for the kids.LOL he knows me oh so well. Because you mean so much to me the gift cards are with Kourtney W. so that you can not spend them on the kids. Jan 3rd will be a girls day out to go clothes shopping with Kourtney,Kelsie and Sunshine.

Of course we had to have the camcorder out for the first time in years and yep you guessed it he turned it on me to get my reaction. So now I have to find a way to get it and delete that part before he stops me.LOL

She really did join the army

My sister hid it from us that she was joining the army. Well after she told us and we knew she should be in boot camp mom called her house. Or something like that. Well she told mom that she was home from bootcamp for a visit cause she has kids. We all said no way is that happening. They don't care if you have kids. Well mom just got a letter from the church saying that she is in the army and actually going to church down there. we are shocked that not only is she really in the army but that she is going to church. Maked me wonder what she thinks she can get out of it. I love her to death but she thinks of herself alot.

Got some of the barn done today

I tell ya I will be sooo glad when this barn is done and usable. We have the outside wall of almost 2 stalls done. I am getting excited to see so much of it done. Hopefully it wont be long until I can at least stall the horses up to keep them off the pastures. They already look really bad. With all this rain we have had it is a huge mud hole out there. the missionaries came over today to help. Man those guys can work. Of course we always feed them dinner when they come over. Everyone loves that. The kids adore them both. We will be sad when they are transfered out of here.
Kirk is feeling better but still hurts if he does too much. I know he still hurts cause he didn't work like he normally does when we have people over helping. I feel bad for him. Hope he gets better soon.
I am almost done with my shoping for christmas. Just need to get one more gift for Jessie and then the candy for the stockings. I also got the giftcard today that Kirk's dad sends us eveyyear that I have to go pick up the gifts from him. I think Jessie might get a couple pair of pj's from him. She loves the warm fuzzy ones that the shirt buttons up the front. Of course all my girls love that kind. Joey on the other hand wont wear pj's. He just sleeps in tomorrow clothes. Figure there are worse things to fight over so I let it go. LOL

stuff in general

Haley had her follow up appt from her surgery.She is doing great and her ears look wonderful. She goes back in 3 months.
Sarah teeth are coming in. She is excited about that.
Kirk fell off Bo on Sunday and is hurting. He had a bruise show up this morning.
Sarah is deffenatly my daughter. I showed her one of those scary videos and she just stood there and I told her not to tell Jessie and Joey so I could show it to them and she giggled and said lets show it to Haley. Yep she is her mothers daughter.
On a sad note we lost RJ (our billy goat) last night. We are sooo not used to losing billies. we are praying that one of the 3 full blooded nannies we have is pg and she has a billy. Lord knows we can't aford to replace him right now. We are thinking he got pnomana(I know it's spelled wrong) the weather has been crazy.

Missing teeth

Sarah has lost her two front bottom teeth. Just a few days apart. She looks so cute.

Haley's surgery

It went great. She was tired and whinny the whole time.When Kirk was getting her dressed to leave she told him that after she got dressed she was going back to bed cause she was tired. WE get to the hospital and she ran around in the waiting room. Well when we get to the preop room she got whinny again. We had to make her change withh er crying that she wanted to go home cause she was tired. When the nurse came in to take her back she told us that she was there to whisk her away.Hlaey clung onto kirk like a baby monkey. The nurse went to get a wagon and came back and took her off Kirk and she started crying. the nurse looked at us and said I'm whisking I'm wisking. My poor baby cried all the way down the hall. I about lost it. I felt so bad for her. They took her back at 8:11 and came to get us cause she was awake at 8:28. when we got into recovery she was laying so well.the nurse told us that she was awake and talking to her when she got in there. she told the nurse about a bruise on her leg. Now I have no clue where this bruise came from. Like alot of her bruises and scratches but she told the nurse that her brother bit her. The nurse asked her why he did that and she told her cause she was mean to him. I know he didn't bite her cause she would have came crying for that one.
On the way home I asked her if she could hear better and she said yes and she liked her tubes.
Praying that this is her last set of ear tubes. It is her 4th set in 3 years

Haley's Birthday

She had a great time. Joe made the cutest tinker bell cake for her. She got so much tinker bell stuff it's not even funny. LOL She even got the movie. She also got a couple babies and some shoes and hair stuff and bath gel. Tomorrow we are taking her to the mexican place for her actual birthday. She will get to wear the big hat and get a fried ice cream. She is looking forward to it.
She gets her next set of ear tubes on Friday which is when Kirk and I would take her out. We are thinking since she will have just had surgery that we will see if we can find places for the kids and Kirk bring home chinese and a movie and it just be us at home. I'm trying to talk him into letting her sleep with us that night. He just might but still have to do some talking. LOL

Black Friday

Why oh Why do people get up at horrible hours to go shopping in a mob of people? I don't know but I did it. I even made Kirk get up and brave the mob with me. I couldn't believe how many people were in Wal mart this morning. I did get my 6.5 prelite tree. Going to try to get it up today.I got alot of stuff for the kids too. Well the girls manly.they are almost done. I always feel good when I can say I am done shopping for people.One less thing to stress about. Jessie is almost done as well and I know what else she is getting so no big deal there just got to pick it up.Joey on the other hand I have no idea other then some legos what else he is getting.
On a bad note. I was cleaning the huge mirrors in my bathroom last night a pulled my back. I can hardly move. I was in bed trying to rest and praying it would feel better but had to get up with the kids while Jessie is gone with my mom to take Vador to the vet with his leg.Hoping they hurry back.

Twilight

Well Jessie and I went to see Twilight at the midnight showing. she loved it and so did everyone else that I went with but I thought it needed alot of work. First it was low budget and you could tell.Second there were parts that were so not like the book. Like the accident. Tylor hit black ice under the snow BEFORE school. Well in the movie he just slid and it was after school. Her truck wasn't park right or anything. So they messed up that whole part. The whole port Angelas scene was wrong as well. He never gets out of the car to fight with them and she never goes into the book store. Jacob tells her everything but she goes into the store to get a book to find the info. They never left the school to talk and they sure as heck never went up into the trees. Edwarda family never cooked for her and her and charlie never went out to eat but they show all that. So all in all I was dissapointed in it, but you know I will have to get the dvd when it comes out just to watch them on tv and see their faces.Obessesed yes I am

Dog cookies

Yesterday Haley was into the cookies and she left the tub of them on the floor in the living room. I found them there after changing out the laundry and Lady (our dog) had her face in them. She loved them. Well I told Haley to take the bucket to the kitchen and she put them on the table. I didn't think much about it, but last night Kirk told Joey that if he tried his sweet potatos he would give him some cookies. I told him we didn't have any and he asked what happened. I told him and Jessie started gagging. She ate those cookies while I was at Walmart. The poor girl we had her gagging for a half hour by going on and on about what this dog puts in her mouth. Mean I know but it was too funny.

on a side note Haley went around the other day with a pillow on her head saying "I'm the devil" now where on earth did she get that?
This morning at breakfast she was talking about a mean boy that beat her up and is now in heaven. I asked her if she killed him and she said "No he killed me" so I had to ask why he was in heaven and she was still with me. "She said cause he went to see Jesus and he is mean" I asked how he got there and she said " a bird took him up there, but I'm too big for a bird to take me"

"OLD"

We were over at my mom's today and she has this magnetic calender on her fridge. Well Sarah pointed to the 6 and said this is how old I will be on my next birthday.So we high five and then she shows me where the ages of the other kids are. After that she was saying she would be 7 then 8 so I asked her what happens when she turns 8.She said "I don't know" so I asked what happens at church when you turn 8. Again she said "I don't know" so mom sings "I can't wait until I'm 8 cause then i'll be_______" and waits for Sarah to fill in the blank. We were trying to get her to say baptized. she looks at mom and says "OLD" we about died right there.
For lunch today we met up with Grandma,Joe and Anita. Haley loves salsa and chips and she was eating some and then started looking down her shirt. I asked her if she lost something down there and she said "Salsa"

Bad day

Haley went to the ENT dr today cause she has had an infection in her ears for the past month. Well the infection is gone but there is still fluid in there so he put h er back on anitboodics and guess what. On the 5th of Dec. just 3 days after her birthday my baby has to go in to have her 4th set of tubes in 3 years. I thought he would wait awhile to see how she does like he did when they fell out after 3 weeks. Nope they tried to do a hearing test which she refused to do but they did get the picture of her eardrum working. He said they are getting weeker from all the fluid and pressure in there so he wants to go in now to relieve the pressure. I am so upset. A few days ago I was talking to my mom about which sunday to have her party. I was aiming for the 7th but now we have decided to go with the 30th that way she has a new toy to take to the hossy with her. So now I have to get her party planned, and her cake done.I am in tears. I just can't believe this. I know it is no big deal but it still gets me every time they put my baby under. Praying that she outgrows all this and she wont need them after this set.

Funny stuff

On the way to richmond today to Joey's soccer game we past by walmart and there was a Fedex truck coming from that way and Joey said "Look mom a Walmart Taxi"
Then mom came over for dinner tonight and Haley was sitting on mom's lap after while we were watching tv and she said "No body move there are monsters here"

It's sprinkling

Haley and I were going into Walmart today and it was barely sprinkling and I said "Haley it's sprinkling on our heads" she looked up at me and said " I don't want it to sprinkle on me" on the way out it was still coming down a little and she looked up at the sky and then grabed her eye and said it got me

Kirk is gone for training

He flew out to Dallas on sunday night. He has 5 tests he has to take between last Monday and the 21st. He is there for voice over IP certs.He took his first test today and passed it. He said the next one will be harder.Haley keeps asking him where he is and why he is gone.None of the kids like him being gone. Jessie just looked at me all sad and with a very depressed voice said "I don't like not having a dad" I had to laugh. She made it sound like she has never had one and that her dad wont be back next Friday. Man I hope that is not a preminition.Now I'm all worried.

New puppy and loose tooth

Well we brought home our new puppy today.We didn't get Emmett cause he has run away from moms twice and he wasn't there when I picked up the puppy. So we brought home the fav of everyone.Renesmee aka Bella. We call her Nesse.
Sarah has her first loose tooth.She is really excited about it, but doesn't want to pull it.

stuff

Well Joey had his first game today. He did really well. His team won 3 to 0. On the way home he said he didn't want to be on kirk's team anymore. I asked him why and he told me that daddy doesn't work him hard enough. Ok what child at ANY age have you ever even heard of that has said that? I'll tell he is the first one I have ever heard of. too bad he only wants to work hard at soccer.LOL
Haley was watching Dora yesterday and Dora asked if she seen the castle. I heard Haley say no so I looked at her and she had her eyes scruntched shut shacking her head no and saying "Nope I have my eyes shut"
Kirk leaves tomorrow for almost 2 weeks. I am so not looking forward to him being gone.
I am still trying to make it so I can go to Chicago to see Robert Pattinson. Not sure it is going to happen but I told mom that if I can't go she better take Haley that day cause I will be in bed crying and depressed. I am however really excited about the movie coming out.
On an upside of stuff I filled my van up today for $40. I was pleasantly surprised. I never thought I would see gas below $2 a gallon but I paid $1.90 today. I hope it least that low.
I have bought the kids some clothes to take some pics for our Christmas card. Now to get a nice day to get out and get them done. I have the perfect spot but not sure I want to go without Kirk and I don't have time to wait for him to get home in two weeks. It would be way to cold.

Now that I got that off my chest

I had to write in here about Joey. One of the other soccer coaches for bath county called begging for Joey to play on his indoor soccer team. I am very proud that other coaches have noticed him and want him on their teams. so needless to say we are forking over the $65 and then taking him to Richmond which is more then an hour away every Sat. for the next 2 months.I just hope that since the idiot was elected the gas prices don't go back up where we can't afford to go watch him play.He had his first practice today and coach told them about the rules and how they differ in indoor soccer.

Man I knew it

I just knew this idiot would win. this man doesn't stand for the anthem because he doesn't fell like it.He said he had already visited 57 states and had 2 more he thought. Yes you read that right 57. Now last time I looked we only had 50 states not 59. We are in sooooo much trouble but I have to have faith that all this was in Heavenly fathers plan.The end is near and Obama is leading the way.

Election day

is here at last. I am glad to finally have it over tomorrow but also so afraid that Obama will get into office. I feel like he is a snake that we need to run and hide from.
The kids are out of school for the day. I am sure they will spend it outside as it will be in the mid 70's which is really nice for our area this time of year.
Kirk leaves for Dallas on Sunday and I am so not looking forward to him being gone for 13 days.
I am however trying to make it possible to go to chicago on the 12th of this month to see Robert Pattinson aka Edward Cullen. I am told that I am insane and very obsessed and need and intervention to help me for wanting to go so far to see someone. Oh well. If I can get that close to him I have to at least try to go see him.

Stuff

I was giving Haley a bath today and it made me remember that I needed to write in here. she has gotten to the point that she wants to lay down for me to get the comditioner out of her hair.(thanks to big sister Sarah),but every time she does as she is laying down she will tell me "Mom don't let me drown"

the missonaries are coming for dinnger and that is always exciting for the kids. They fight every time they come over to get to sit by them. I have to many kids and not enough space around the table for all of them to sit by the missonaries. LOL

too add to everything else

Man today was not my. Kirk and I got into a fight about makeup and the girls and Halloween.While at trunk or treat tonight I noticed that that diamand in my wedding ring is gone. What else can go wrong today. Nothing I am going to bed. Crossing my fingers tomorrow is better

Bad day

Well Haley had her follow up appt today for her ears. the right one has scars in it and the left one is still really infected.So what does this mean you ask. She has to go back to the ENT. Her Dr. is trying to get ahold of her ENT to make the appt. Still no word on that. Crossing my fingers he doesn't want to put another set of tubes in. It would be her 4th set in 3 years.
After we went to her Dr we went to walmart and on the way home stoped at moms cause we had picked her up some milk and Haley wanted to see Edward(our puppy) Well he is not there. We looked everywhere. I am heartbroken. He was only 4 weeks old so we were waiting for him to get old enough to bring him home.
