stuff stuff and more stuff.

HeHe. always have trouble coming up with a title for these dang things. Oh well. we all know I am not creative.
School is going well for the kids. Well except for Joey and I am pretty sure he is failing at least one of his classes. All the girls are doing well though. Sarah is slowly catching up with her grade on reading. I just hope she makes it by the end of the school year.
Haley has lost her two front bottom teeth. We have an appt for her at the gastro dr. in cinci for the 23rd of the Nov. Trying to get her into the endo as well up there. We gave up on UK. We had an appt there for the endo for over 2 months and the friday before her Monday appt they called and said they wont see her because she doesnt have hypothyroidism. Like that could be the only thing that is causing her to gain weight like she is and have the funny smell. So off to cinci we go. Trying to get all her lab results over to the endo up there for them to make the appt for her. we have had it faed 3 times now and I guess they still do not have it.So will call again in the morning and see before having them refaxed yet again.
Soccer season is almost over for the kids. It is over for Kirk and I am so glad. by the end of season I am so ready for him to be home at night again.
I have started babysitting a baby that is almost 2 months old. His name is Bryson and he is so cute. The kids all adore him. Maya even has adopted him. lol she doesn't like it when he cries. She goes over to make sure he is alright and then lays by him. She is all over him when he gets here in the mornings. She loves to lick his feet. We took him to the movie for the first time today. He did pretty well. Slept through most of it. I have also started taking more pictures for people. It is going well. Still wont charge people but should get there some day. lol I am supposed to have a photo shoot this Friday but the lady is not getting back with me so we shall see if it actually happens. I also have a session set for the 6th of Nov. We will see if that one happens too. I did a birth session for a distant cousin about a month ago or so. It was amazing being there and being able to document what went on for them. Would love to do it again but finding people to let you do that is not an easy thing. lol Oh well again maybe someday.
Jessie is reading over my shoulder and it makes me nervouse when people do that so if she doesn't stop soon I will end this post. Ok she is laughing so ending now. Really out of things to say anyway so the joke is on her. lol

Back to school and stuff

The kids have been in school now for almost a month. I can't believe how fast time flies now. It goes faster and faste every year it seems. Jessie started her Junior year and likes it well enough. She is in FHA again this year taking animal science. I am so glad she wants to stay at home and go to collage. I just can not imagine her leaving home at all. Joey started middle school this year. He is doing better in classes and not getting into as much trouble. He does however save it all for when he gets home. He is in band and I think he has finally decided on playing the tuba. Lord help us all with him practicing in the house. That is one noise I can do without. HEHE. Sarah is in 3rd grade now. She is in Emma Crouch's class again. Her best friend. I find it funny that my mom and emma's grandma were best friends in school and now their grand daughters are best friends. They even play soccer together. Haley is in 1st grade. She is loving it. well at least after she can wake herself up in the mornings. She is like mommy and HATES mornings. She behaves fairly well in class but has lots of attitude when she gets home though. I seriously have no idea how we are going to deal with this child when she hits her teenage years.I'm thinking of moving out. lol.
The weather has been crazy. It has been so hot and not nearly enough rain. Our garden didn't do well. The corn died before it could grow. The tamatoes are still going strong though. I got enough zucchini though to put some bread in the freezer. I made muffins for the girls lunches. They love em but like the chocolate ones better. Of course they do.lol.
The horses are doing well. I still love Boss even though he still from time to time thinks he needs to buck with me. glad I am able to stay on him. Of course he doesn't buck hard or long. Good think for me. hehe. Katarah is growing fast. She is almost as big as peanut. Of course peanut's name fits him well. He is not real big. I am hoping that he tops out at at least 13hh but that is too be seen.
A friend of ours had a baby last Tuesday and I get to babysit him when she goes back to school. I am so excited to start watching him.His name is Bryson, and he is the cutest baby. I bought his first blanket for the house today.
I am really hoping to that I can get on here more and keep up better.

Me again

Can't seem to get a handle on writing in this dang thing. Even though no one reads it I hope to have stuff in here for the kids to read about later in life. turns out the van did need a new transmisson. Well we had ours rebuilt. Ended up without the van for 2 months which most of the time the kids were home for snow/ice days. Would loved to have had it to take them to the gym just to get them out of the house. I was able to get a new camera as well. I got a nikon d3100. It is a really nice camera. Still getting used to it. Way different than my olympus. Took pictures of Brooke a few weeks ago and then this past week I did a session with Jessie and Sarah and 2 with Kam. have lots of pictures to edit. Down to 4 ct's with my scrapping and it is enough for me. lol Keeping me busy but loving it. Nyarah (jessie's horse) is about to pop any day now. Been going out to the barn every 2 hours during the night for the past week and a half. Not real sure I will go tonight as she is doing nothing different than any of the other nights. I ended up trading Velvet for a big QH gelding. Thought everything was awesome till the next day when I tried to get him to run. He bucks when you do that. Come to find out he is really only green broke when I was told he was broke. They never even had him go faster than a trot ever. So needless to say I am trying to work that out of him. slow going since the rain wont stop long enough for us to have but a day or two of dry pasture. I am just afraid he is going to slip and break a leg. We will get there sooner or later. The rain has not been kind to us in the past 2 days. The barn is totally flooded and is a sloppy soupy mud hole. The foaling stall we had Nyarah in has water standing in it so we had to move her to a smaller stall but at least she in a dry one. With my luck she will have that baby in all this mess. I am dying to see what color this baby is. Daddy was solid black and Nyarah is a black and white paint. I am praying for big spots. lol Haley brought a duck home from school today for the night. Man am I glad it is only 1 night. lol. Sarah wrote a book in school and they published it. the whole class did. I get to go pick up my book tomorrow and she will be doing a book signing and channel 36 will be there to video the kids. so she gets to be on tv next monday. Guess who is taping the news? lol Then I think I will find the link to the dang thing and post it on my facebook page for family not around here to get to see her. Little monkey turns 8 in 9 days. I am so not looking forward to this. I miss my baby. Her speach is getting so much better. Next year will be her last year in speach. We are talking about holding her back in the 2nd grade because of her reading. She is behind and I am afraid if we let her go on she will just get further and further behind and that is just frustrating to the child. We have a few weeks to decide what we want to do. On the bright side this child excels in math. Well as long as she doesn't have to read anything to get to the problem.

Where does time go?

It has been forever since I even looked at this blog. Must get better.
Well the kids all started school in Aug. Jessie is in 10th, Joey is in 5th his last year in elementary school. :( Sarah is in 2nd and Haley started Kindy. Of course this has been one of the coldest winters yet. They have missed alot with snow and ice. Just hope they don't have to go past the 10th. Jessie has girls camp the week of the 13th and then we leave for Tx for vacation on the 16th. have a family reunion with Kirk's side of the family on the 18th I guess. Then the next week we will take the kids to Sea World. Ben and his girls, Leah,TJ and their kids and then Toby are all going with us. It should be a really fun great time. We are all looking forward to it. the kids ask all the time about going to Sea World. thinking maybe we should have kept that on the downlow. lol.
I have done great with my bypass surgery. down to 120lbs now. Have a lot of extra skin that is beyond gross, but I can do so much more now that a year ago i wouldn't even think of doing. Ended up in the ER with pancreititus in Nov. and they found gall stones so out game my gall bladder.I knew when I had the bypass I would end up having to have it taken out. A lot of people do. The bad part was not being able to eat or drink for more than a day. all worth it in the end.Would do it all again tomorrow.
I have ended up on 5 CT's right now for scrapbooking. I need to get better at posting the layouts on my other blog for that stuff.
Our rabbits finally started having babies. We have 34 baby bunnies right now.
My van decided it needs work on the transmisson. We are praying and crossing our fingers that it only need the filter and fluids changed and not the whole transmisson.
My camera just before Christmas decided it needed to stop working right. Most of the time now I get nothing but a black picture. So we had planned on getting me a new one with the tax check, well then the dang van did this so there went my camera fund if we need a new transmisson. Have to wait to get the taxes back before I can even take the van in. going crazy without a camera and car. Well you know what they say. When it rains it pours.

hello again

I really wish I could get better at keeping up with this blog.
Haley came out this morning pulling a suit case and said she was moving to mexico. She said I had to drive her down and that Mexico needed her. I had to laugh

Haley funnies

She crawled in bed with me this morning and went back to sleep. When we got up we were goofing off and I was tickling her on her back. She has some bug bites on it and she told me through laghter "Mom stop tickling me your making my bug bites infected." Then we were acting like we were in the ocean and the sharks were trying to get us. I would grab her and roll all over saying "shark" she looked at me and asked me "what am I thinking mom" I told her I don't know what r u thinking? she told me "look into my eyes and tell me" so I looked and told her that she was thinking she loved me the most. She said nope so I asked her what r u thinking? she said "No it doesn't work that way you have to look in my eyes and tell me."

Waited too long again

Well I had gastric bypass surgery on the 4th of Jan. The first 2 weeks were really hard, but since then has not been too bad. I only have 15-20lbs left to lose. I can do so much more now. We are taking the kids to Kings Island on the 29th of next month and I really am looking forward to going and spending the day with them, and not be worried I wont fit in the seat. I can get up on my horse with no help at all. No bucket no nothing. it is such a nice feeling.
Yesterday I told Haley my tailbone hurt. It is still trying to get used to not having as much padding back there.lol anyway she looked at me and said "mom we don't have tails" I told her no but we do have tailbones. She promptly turned her head to look at her butt as best as she could and then looked at me and said "then way don't we have tails"
She told me several months ago that she was stopping school after preschool cause she didn't want to leave me all day every day.
We lost grandma to anaplastic thyroid cancer last week. Still trying to adjust to the fact that she is gone.
